Burn in Hell, Polaroid!

Burn in Hell, Polaroid!
You may have missed this, but Polaroid is ceasing the manufacture of ALL of its film lines.. That's right, Polaroid is getting out of the film business... so that they can concentrate on frigging flat screen televisions. So say goodbye to an entire medium, and to all the submedia (like polaroid transfers) that will go down with it. And if history is something to go by, Polaroid will likely refuse to sell the patent to anyone else who might actually want to continue production (see what happened with the 80 series, which was the format for holga polaroid backs.) Hey Polaroid execs! I hope you lose your shirts! The picture above was made with now obsolete Polaroid 54, peel apart film for 4x5 cameras, in Tennessee.
